It is almost the Weekend, but I’m probably not doing much of anything, except acting. I’m in the Oliver Play and It starts tonight. Come see it if you want.

Showtimes are 7:30 PM on Thursday, 7:30 PM on Friday, 2:30 and 7:30 PM on Saturday, and 2:30 on Sunday.

I hate my dad so much, alls he does is be mean to me. I mean I can’t even wear flip flops because he says I have to wear shoes. He treats me like I’m 3 years old yet he says I act like I am that age. And when I start to cry because I’m so confused he makes fun of me. I feel like I am rejected by him. Every time I want to do something fun he raises a huge fight about it. Like my barbershop, or the play that I’m in. I mean i don’t want to be a recluse like he is, but he is pulling and dragging me closer to that point. GRR!

Boredom and Limewire PRO

I’m really bored right now. Not doing anythign today except going to play practice. But whats really bothering me is how limewire is considered open source yet they make you pay for PRO. Why am I going to pay someone 20 dollars to compile a program from source? Granted that I can’t compile myself without a linux box, its still not worth 20 dollars. Heres a tip for anyone that wants Limewire PRO and dosent want to pay:

So today I figured I would get some random blogging software for blogger. Well I got a nifty program called BlogJet, and want to get the nontrail key for it, So I’m going around to my sites and seeing if I can find it. I’m not going to post it on my blog, but If you want to try this software you can go to www.BlogJet.com and see how you like it.

Wait Wait Wait...Read me that last sentence again "Love is commonly considered impossile to define" What the heck does that mean, love is this thing that noone really knows what it is, but yet everyone is always talking about it? Well I guess I'd have to be one of those commonly considerate people then. Yup, I've fallen, but how do I actually know. I don't, noone really knows completely when there in love. But I know I am. I have ways of defining love, but I'll just name a few because I could go on for an eternity.

I honestly couldn't stay in a car for a month, even if I would win it if I stayed in it the longest of 4 people. I am talking about Star 104's Contest. (See that link for more details). But One person quit her senior year of highschool just to go to the contest. That makes no sense, then there is a homeless guy which I hope wins. But that would be the worst thing to ever do, like sit in a car for a month. I mean last year Star did the same type of thing, except it was a contest to win a pool, and yes people stayed in the pool for 2 weeks. They get a ten minute break every three hours and a half an hour break at 12 midnight. Which isnt that bad, except you have to stay in the car even when it rains or is bad weather and alls your aloud to have is a hoodie. Thats all fine and dandy but then you scroll down and see

That means anything that you have (your hoodie) they can take away. I dont know why someone would want to do that, but they obviously do.

Today I decided to make an entirely new version of Drink Holder, and call it Personal Assistant.I ran out of patience though, so decided to make a beta version of it. Its still a bit stupid, but I plan to add some actual vast functionality to it.
Heres a list of my intentions:

Make a fully functioning web browser. This would be just for browsing to pages. It would have a kind of pop up blocker, or something like that. It would definitely be gecko based, although I don't know if that is possible with a .NET platform, i'll talk to Bill Gates to get on that one though lol.

More things that interact with the Windows API (like the Drink Holder), and offer a sort of comical functionality. I.e. Alarm clock sounds, or wake up call sounds on a timer, etc..

Perhaps in the late late late late late future (or whenever I learn C# a bit better) a thing that will have macro functionality (can make the computer open or run things, by moving the computers mouse)

You probably google your name too, so if you find this blog, please do read. She has no right to be viewing myspaces and judging her students/grading her students on them or informing their parents. The only thing that would give her a right, is if they concern her. And I don't think many of them have her mentioned. I really wish there was a way to make a soft of robots.txt to tell her to not index them lol. Techies will get that joke fairly quickly. And Ruth if you are reading this: there is nothing that says that there is a limit of age on who can make a blog or any account on the web. Except generally, 13 is the age that you are aloud to make an account, which means all of your students are aloud to have them. Instead of telling peoples parents and scaring the hell out of them, tell your students how to practice online safety. Wait that might make too much sense.

   The previous is not altogether false. I mean it would look better like this: Microsoft was the best computer company in the world. See microsoft thought that no one would ever find out how computers work except hackers. True, hackers are the still the best people at exploiting computers, but hacking is so easy its not even funny.
   For example: Binary Revolution Forums > Firefox+Myspace+your javascript: says that it is easy to inject javascript into Myspace, just using a simple image tag. That means that if someone posts a comment on your Myspace they can easily redirect it to another site. You don't have to have to know Python, Linux, or even SQL. That means anyone who wants to cause harm has the power to but that's completely off topic. Like I've said what does that have to do with Mozilla vs. Microsoft? Well Microsoft thought and thinks and probably will think that only people like hackers or "geeks" can hack into computers, but like I said above, anyone could do it.
   Mozilla on the other hand realizes this, and protects you. For example, just a small list of the security features in Firefox as follows:
Firefox does not use a domain/zone security model or local machine zone trust for accessing web pages (common ways to fool Internet Explorer into granting excess privileges).
Firefox does not support many of Microsoft's proprietary DHTML features, which create those risks for vulnerabilities
Firefox is not part of Microsoft's HTML Help system
Firefox does not ignore the MIME type of a file unless it's a binary file sent with a text/plain MIME type
Firefox does not support ActiveX (though plugins for ActiveX exist in some form; once an ActiveX component is run, it runs with the full privileges of the user, instead of having limited privileges like a Java or JavaScript applet). Signed remote script that uses XPCOM (short for cross platform COM) is in some ways similar to ActiveX. However, XPCOM cannot be used silently in this way because every use of XPCOM components need to be confirmed by the user (with a timeout dialog).    Are we all just pissed off because Microsoft started releasing shitty products? Well I look at it like this: Take a band that was very good when they started out performing. Then they started releasing crappy albums. We all know that they were a great band, and still have potential, but we move to a different band. Yet, you still have the people who are die hard fans of that band. People will always be die hard fans of Microsoft. I personally love microsoft, they ~~made~~ helped make the modern computer a practical and affordable application to have inside ones home. Now they are making programming interfaces like Basic, C++, C#, or J# (Microsoft's Rendition of Java) available to the general public for free. Before it was a big deal to be able to make your own programs with anything other than a hex editor, or perhaps batch files. Now the general public has access to these interfaces, and can learn to make programs. I think its one of the best things that microsoft has done, besides develop windows.

Well it sucks that I had to get up at like 8:30 this morning, but that's OK. I had play practice at bloody ten this morning and then had to work for a couple hours, but I made money so I don't care. Someone set off an alarm so we had to sing at practice with the alarm on the whole damn time which sucks, because it was annoying.

What the hell is the big deal with Internet Explorer or Firefox any other things? Well, the big deal is that Internet Explorer is simply insecure. Why would i say that? Well I'm not the only one who said it. Just google Insecure internet explorer and the first page that pops up on the list is this one: Time to Dump Internet Explorer and from that page comes this paragraph:

"The latest version of IE is 6, and it has certainly accumulated an impressive record of holes: 153 since 18 April 2001, according to the SecurityFocus Vulnerabilities Archive. There have been some real doozies in there. For instance, last August, Microsoft issued a patch that fixed a hole that the company described this way: "It could be possible for an attacker who exploited this vulnerability to run arbitrary code on a user's system. If a user visited an attacker's Web site, it would be possible for the attacker to exploit this vulnerability without any other user action." Oh, is that all? Well, that's super - simply visit a Web page, and you're 0\/\/N3d, d00d!"

Well what does that have to do with anything? I mean why do you care if some hacker would try to target you. Hackers, like terrorists don't target one particular section of people. They, instead like to make mass groups of people at random suffer. If you keep reading that article you see that the previous statements are true

Like it says in this next paragraph:

"A little over a week ago, the SecurityFocus Vulnerability Database reported the "Microsoft Internet Explorer Modal Dialog Zone Bypass Vulnerability," which "may permit cross-zone access, allowing an attacker to execute malicious script code in the context of the Local Zone." That was just one of the six reported so far this month - and we're only halfway through!"

Well what does that even mean? That means that a hacker can make a program or HYPERLINK that can access any file in your computer. Which includes personal information and the like. Thats why people devleoped things called firewalls to protect you.

Ipod vs. Anything else

What the hell is the difference between an IPOD and an MP3 player, well an mp3 player actually will support Wave, and wma format, as opposed to an ipod supporting only mp3. I mean sure it would be nice to carry the history of music in my pocket, but what the hell is the sense of having something with 30 gigs on it. There is really no sense, i mean i have an RCA Lyra RD1028 which holds 128 megs and then it can expand with 2 more gigs. But the thing is even with roughly 2.128 gigs on my mp3 thats like 600 songs. I mean what the hell will i do with 600 songs. If you know me you will know that I do everything musical. But with how much music even I have, i still don't need that many songs. I personally think IPOD is a Waste.

So like its the weekend. Pretty Uneventful though. I mean I have play practice for Oliver on Saturday and then Sunday I have band. But the nice thing is at least it is the weekend. I can't wait until I finish my work because then I wont have to do anymore school.
